Banned Books Week
Tomorrow marks the start of Banned Books Week. This year I will be reading "The Golden Compass," which I cannot believe I haven't read yet. I'll also re-read "And Tango Makes Three," which is probably the most adorably innocuous book to top the list of banned books.
"The Chocolate War" & "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" are two of my favorite books! I got "The Chocolate War" from the library when I was in junior high. And I'm pretty sure we read "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" in high school English class. Yay for my liberal school!
(BTW, did you know I read your blog? It's fascinating!)
I love the Golden Compass. I actually have a signed copy--and read it long before it became popular. I should read that again in honor of BBW. I've got the other two books if you want to borrow them.

Hilarious! I did not know you read my blog! I still havent read "The Chocolate War" and really need to get it.
